How to Access Purchased Maps

Sometimes people have difficulty locating the correct downloadable map that they have purchased in the Digital Map Store. There are many thousands of maps for sale, some of them are updated on a regular basis, and the update policies vary from one publisher to another, so it is important to select the correct map.

On the Windows PC

  • In the Memory-Map V6 app, click the Web, Check for updates command and ensure you have the latest version
  • Press Map > Map List and open the Europe Base Map
  • Click the Digital Map Store button in the toolbar (or Map > Digital Map Store > Online Maps Menu command),
  • Click Sign-in and enter your user name and password to log in to your account.
  • Then click My Online Maps, and Maps Everywhere.
  • Some Map types may be shown with a plus sign in a box. Click to expand all the categories.
  • Note that some older maps may be shown under Old Editions.

On iOS

  • First, tap HERE to check Memory-Map in the App Store. If it has an UPDATE button, tap it to install the latest version. Then tap OPEN.
  • Tap the Maps button (on the toolbar, bottom left)
  • If you have a Memory-Map account, tap Menu (top right), then Map Licenses, and Sign-in
  • Tap Menu (top right), then Map Licenses, and Recover In-app Purchases
  • Then tap My Online Maps, and Maps Everywhere.
  • Some Map types may be hidden with a >. Click to expand all the categories.
  • Note that some older maps may be shown under Old Editions.

On Android,

  • First go to the Google Play Store, tap My Apps from the Menu, and install any pending updates for Memory-Map.
  • Tap the Maps button,
  • Tap Menu, Map Licenses, Sign-in to sign in to your account.
  • Then tap My Online Maps, and Maps Everywhere.
  • Some Map types may be hidden with a >. Click to expand all the categories.
  • Note that some older maps may be shown under Old Editions.

On the Mac

  • In the Memory-Map app, click the Web, Check for app updates command and ensure you have the latest version
  • Click the Help > Sign-In menu command and login to your Memory-Map account
  • Click the Maps button on the toolbar.
  • Then click My Online Maps, and Maps Everywhere.
  • Some Map types may be hidden with a >. Click to expand all the categories.
  • Note that some older maps may be shown under Old Editions.

Alternatively, you can verify and download your purchased maps though the web browser.

  • First, install the latest version of Memory-Map (download from HERE).
  • Go to the license management website: https://w2.memory-map.com/login.htm
  • Sign in to your account, and click HISTORY.
  • Your purchased maps should be listed under My Packages. (Note: if your maps package does not show up here, are you sure you signed into the correct account?)
  • Click the name of the package to see the details of what is in the package. The package may include several different map resources. After the name of the map, it may have a link called Get Maps. Click that link to search for that specific map resource in the Digital Map Store catalog.
  • In the Digital Map Store listing, click the Download button to download the map.

If you are using old maps, or third party maps, you may have to purchase a Navigator license, which includes use of Classic Maps, Imported Maps, and several other important features that you will need.

If there is no “Get Maps” link in the package detail, then the resource is a special kind that we can’t look up in the Digital Map Store. For example, it might be “Any State” choice of map.

If, when you click “Get Maps”, it open the DMS page but it says “No Maps Found”, that means the edition is no longer in the DMS catalog. In most cases you are eligible for a discount to the latest edition of the map, so we recommend you purchase a new edition.
