Memory-Map 6 Cloud Sync is tied to your Memory-Map Account and as such allows you to transfer overlay data (routes, tracks, and marks) between your compatible devices via the internet.
In order to use the Cloud Sync feature you must be using the latest Memory-Map Navigator on your PC (you can check this within your current Memory-Map PC software application by selecting Web > Check For Updates), or the latest Memory-Map for All app on iOS, Android, Mac or Linux.
There are two levels of Memory-Map Cloud Sync. These are:
- FREE - sync up to 2MB of data up to 10 times per calendar month. In the web portal, at the bottom of the page, you can see the size of your synced data and the number of times you have synced in the current calendar month.
- SUBSCRIPTION - use the service without usage limits. This is included with map subscriptions, and with the Pro subscription, or may be bought separately for an annual payment of $9.99.
Note that there is a difference in the way you sync between Memory-Map Navigator on your PC, and the other apps. With Memory-Map Navigator, you have to explicitly upload or download selected items. With Memory-Map for All, items are uploaded and downloaded depending on what is new or what has been modified.
