Memory-Map on macOS Big Sur

Running Memory-Map after upgrading the operating system to Big Sur

Please ensure you are running the latest version of Memory-Map (Download the app from HERE)

macOS 11 introduces new restrictions on access to files. The app works fine if you have followed the directions to download the maps from the Digital Map Store, but if you have copied maps manually then you may need to adjust the security settings.

  1. In System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, then click Privacy.
  2. Click the lock and enter your password to make changes.
  3. Select "Full Disk Access" on the left hand column
  4. Click the +
  5. Type "/Applications"
  6. Select Memory-Map and click Open

Alternatively, do a Clean Uninstall, reinstall the app and then use "My Online Maps" to install your maps. See How to Access Purchased Maps
